The security of your website is detrimental to your business

Hacked Website Recovery is never a good thing to search for. If your website is not looking or behaving how it should then you’re in the right place.

There is a long list of things that may make you suspicious that your website has been hacked. More often than not somebody else will know before you, either your hosting provider or your site visitors. However you find out you need to act quickly to stop things getting worse. From the moment that your website is compromised your business reputation is at stake and if you are running an eCommerce shop then your sales will be hit too.

Before you panic too much, work through this quick check list of signs.

  • Your site has been blacklisted
  • Suspicious Activity in Your Website and Server Logs
  • Unexplained Server Processes

If you have a web developer or somebody who looks after your website then they should be your first port of call.

The recovery of your site should include four stages:

  • Investigation of the cause and vulnerability
  • Stop access
  • Clean up
  • Prevent future attacks
